For as long as I can remember, I have loved solving puzzles. From solving my 700th Wordle (no, not consecutive!)  to piecing together intricate jigsaws, the thrill of discovery has always been a source of joy. This innate curiosity led me to a career as a laboratory scientist, where I reveled in the challenge of unraveling the mysteries of sterile product microbiology through experimentation and discovery.

However, over time, I craved a deeper sense of collaboration in my work. Knowledge Management became the perfect bridge, allowing me to partner with others. Here, the puzzle involves harnessing an organization's collective wisdom and transforming it into easily accessible knowledge, readily available when and where it's needed. In essence, I've become a knowledge scientist, designing processes that empower teams and individuals to share their knowledge.

In 2022, I left my role as a knowledge scientist at a large healthcare company to found Knowledge Dynamics, my own knowledge management consulting firm.   At Knowledge Dynamics, I partner with both for-profit and non-profit organizations to help them identify, personalize, and share their best knowledge. The result leads to improved business outcomes and achievement of their goals!

When I am not solving puzzles, either personally or professionally, you might find me walking my rescue dogs; Coco, a sweet mixed breed and Lucy, former puppy mill momma and soft coated Wheaton Terrier, around the neighborhood.  There is also a good chance I'll be at the gym, tackling a different kind of challenge – one involving weights and sweat!
